Dylan and the Moon - Heaven Now

From Cornwall,via London and straight to your ears comes Dylan and the Moon with new single 'Heaven Now' but that isn't the full story. Dylan used to be Lots Holloway and this track was first released in 2019 before Lots transitioned in to Dylan and he had to get used to his new voice - a challenge for a musician that I've not come across before. I'm delighted to say that the testosterone treatment has taken no quality away from Dylan's voice with a surfy soulfulness still there in every note to give this song a late-summer vibe. The West Coast inspired guitars, Motown structures and rapidly delivered vocals all combine to make quite a heady brew but one that goes down smoothly like sipping a Mojito on the beach as the sun goes down. Perfect.
