Westcountry rockers October Drift drop new single 'Waltzer' next week and it is quite the ride. The opening bars are soon blasted out of the water by a wall of sound that features a relentless strum, pounding drums and rolling bass notes of epic, sweeping proportions. Fans of Haunt the Woods or Kings of Leon will enjoy the scale of this tune but the vocals have a raw, intimate quality that keeps this song grounded and free of pomposity which is an impressive feat of balance. Epic, sweeping, sad and heartbroken all in one four minute package - not bad, not bad at all October Drift.
