Leeds supergroup Gawjuss have their debut album out in September but before that they are keeping the interest high with new single 'I Feel Ill'. Mood wise, this is a downbeat but uplifting track with a fuzzy shoegaze vibe and the kind of wall-of-sound guitars you'd expect from the sludgier end of the grunge spectrum. As is the way with Gawjuss, however, this one tends to erupt in the chorus in a flurry of anger, unbridled rage and distortion which is just the kind of release we all need at the moment.
