Straight outta North Carolina comes Caleb Caudle with some dusk-drenched country to soothe your ears, mind and soul. 'Forsythia' was undoubtedly written on a porch in the late afternoon heat as the slide steel guitar and Caudle's spun-gold voice are imbued with such sunny tones that it's damn near impossible to imagine any other time of day or place for this song to be enjoyed. Throw in some gorgeous vocal harmonies and a few plucked strings and you've got yourself one heck of a tasty chowder.
