This is the second track I've had the pleasure of reviewing by the Beths and 'Expert In A Dying Field' is another corker of a song. The fuzzy and subdued introduction feels like a yawn and stretch on a Sunday morning but the punchy beat soon brings some energy to proceedings and we're up and running. Sweetly delicate vocals deliver bitter-sweet lyrics as the brilliantly subtle video delivers moments of wry pleasure in every scene to create an audio-visual experience that you just want to wrap yourself in while you look through old photo albums and listen to the rain outside. Or is that just me....?
