English singer-songwriter Joe Holt has relocated to New York but that hasn't dampened the English charm of his songwriting on new single 'Who Cares'. Almost classical acoustic guitars ripple and undulate like a slowly moving stream navigating past moss covered rocks to soothe every part of your mind, body and soul. Lazy strings then join in to add another layer of lusciousness and Holt's voice is like Nick Drake and Cosmo Sheldrake's love child which is as close to an angel as I would hope to get. Settle in folks, this one is a beauty.
