God damn but this is a funky bass line - something that always gets me hooked in to a tune. In this instance, it is Canada's queen of R'n'B-Soul Nuela Charles that is bringing a little funk to proceedings on new single 'Worthy' which has a mix of Lizzo and Prince vibes but with a huge amount of class and no little style. Throw in some 80s vibes on the synths and an empowering message in the vocals and you've got yourself quite the jam so pour yourself a glass of something to sip, switch your phone off and treat yourself to some one-on-one time with this piece of life affirming music.
