Moosehead - Sleepless

This is the debut release from the brilliantly named rock collective Moosehead and, judging by this, they came make themselves heard. 'Sleepless' channels the likes of Stiltskin, Therapy? and Bush with huge slabs of guitar, powerhouse drums and the kind of vocals that require a daily regimen of gargling with bourbon and barbed wire. Moody, dark and powerful - not a bad start and there's plenty more to come on this evidence.
