The darkly dreamy intro to 'Throw Me On The Fire' is hypnotic and that is part of the appeal of Krush Puppies. As the song evolves, the guitars both jangle and fuzz with crackling energy and the chug of the rhythm section bubbles with a brooding energy. Throw in the vocal harmonies that are part chanting witches and part seductive sirens and you've got the kind of song that works brilliantly on its own but would also be superb as part of a soundtrack to a film noir.
