Austrian trio have done that rare thing of combining an enjoyable song with a compelling video on new release 'Ego'. The guitars ping and bass rolls in a way that feels like Peaness an early Long Blondes demo while the vocals harmonise beautifully with gentle but uber-cool tones. I feel like Dives would go down brilliantly in the indie venues around the UK (especially Brighton for some reason, don't ask me why) and their subtly charming video will help them to win over some new fans as well so it's a great experience all round really. Huzzah!
