South African duo The SoapGirls have been rocking hard for a few years but this new release feels like a step up for them. 'Breathe' matches a moody, chugging riff with dreamy, aloof vocals and it feels like a mash up of Sleigh Bells and Lana Del Rey recording a lost Veruca Salt track. Throw in live shows with all the flamboyance or Kiss or the Darkness and you've got yourself a potent combination.
