Fantastic Negrito - Trudoo

I've been following and enjoying the career of Fantastic Negrito for a while now but I've only just noticed that the name he was born with is Xavier Dphrepaulezz which is one hell of a Scrabble score if nothing else. Anyway, monikers aside, new single 'Trudoo' is another triumph with a swampy blues guitar being joined by a country twang and the singer's trademark theatrical vocal style. There is funk and disco woven in to the fabric of this one but the spirit of the song is more like a folk song celebrating the strength and wisdom of ancestors helping us through the here and now. A masterpiece of a song with more to come on a forthcoming album that I eagerly await.
