The utterly gorgeous Theo Powell is back with new single 'I'm With You' and, honestly, it stopped me in my tracks the first time I heard it. The gently rippling guitar and swelling vocal harmonies make for sparse but comforting listening and that is exactly the space this song is trying to inhabit. Powell is singing of empathy, sympathy and of being present in a moment of pain or loss with someone else who is also living that emotion. His vocal performance is soft and intimate which makes this a really personal and potentially healing record. Beautiful.
