Northern Irish singer-songwriter Lauren Ann brings sultry and moody new single 'Blatant' to market and it will appeal to an awful lot of people. Musically, the vibe is somewhere between the Smiths and Garbage in their more introspective moments but with dreamy, dead-eyed vocals layered over the top which are more Dubstar or Lana Del Rey. This is expansive and ambitious but it doesn't show it on the outside, not one bead of sweat shows but it's a huge, huge track - make no mistake about that.
