Taking elements of Princess Superstar and Marie Davidson, girl_irl manages to create a song that is both sexy and slightly frightening which is a really clever balance to strike. Mechanical beats, sinister melodies and a vocal that is part siren and part Alexa-with-consciousness-and-a-libido all make for an utterly compelling listen that you won't be able to resist going back to time and time again.
