6th Crowd - Sokolonko

6th Crowd is actually Ukranian solo artist Dari Maksymova who is luckily safe in Ireland at the moment but is still releasing new music in the shape of latest single 'Sokolonko'. I don't know what I expected but it almost certainly wasn't the lo-fi synths and processed beats on offer here but that doesn't make them any less gorgeous. Maksymova's vocals are soft and pure without any hint of the pain currently being inflicted on her country and the combination makes for a brilliantly immersive experience which transcends language, borders or conflict. Stunning.
