I bloody love Feeder. I know they're not everyone's cup of tea and not necessarily the most cutting edge of bands but they are always there when you need them and they always deliver cracking songs. 'The Healing' is one of those songs and it comes at a time when everywhere you look there cracks to be filled and wounds to be healed. As we've come to expect, there are uplifting guitar melodies, gorgeous vocals and the kind of indie-rock vibe that will appeal far and wide. What makes this song special is the very tangible sense that Feeder are putting an arm around us all and saying "hang in there mate, we'll get through this". Ground breaking? No. Heartwarming, melodic, punchy and with tip-top songwriting at it's heart? You better believe it.
