Well this is a little bit special - a real bolt from the blue so listen up and listen good. Toronto's SATE hits hard and fast on new single 'Nobody' with a primal scream that would wake the dead and probably shatter a few windows. Then follows a garage-punk romp full of urgency, focus and drive that would fit in alongside Queens of the Stone Age, Black Keys, Royal Blood or Rews without missing a beat. What really sets this track aside, however, is SATE's vocal that blends punk rock attitude, soulful depth and indie-pop accessibility in a way that blows away pretty much every other vocalist I've heard this year, I mean, there's only one word for it and it's not a word I use frivolously but......Wow. Seriously, Wow.
