If you like early 90s inspired, New Order/Electronic-esque melodies with a soft vocals that wouldn't be out of place on a Dubstar or St Etienne record then Dyan Valdes might be the one for you. 'Fade Away' features a pulsating bass line, a simple but effective beat and Valdes' delicate but determined vocal drawing you in to the song. A word of warning about the video though, if the idea of being trapped inside a massive roll of bubble wrap fills you with dread then you might want to have a paper bag to hand when you watch this one.
