Brighton trio Thyla are back with triumphant new single 'Gum' which hits all the right spots. Rattling guitars and drums that land a hit with every punch get the party started but the glitter cannon is the vocal of Millie Duthie which totally steals all the attention. There is a cool and classy streak running through this one like sleak black dress but that doesn't mean this song isn't up for raising some hell and having some good old fashioned fun. A bit like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman but for the 21st century.
