Sleigh Bells - True Seekers (Lucky Number)

There's a wonderfully wistful nature to the new single from Sleigh Bells which makes it almost perfect for inclusion in the end scene of a Netflix alt-teen movie. 'True Seekers' has the usual melodic industrial sound that the duo have become synonymous with but the vocals feel more poppy as lyrics like "I love you legend, let it go, I love you legend, hope you know" are delivered with slick pop aplomb but still plenty of emotion and personality, just as it should be. Classically icy cool stuff from Sleigh Bells, then, but with a little 80s emotion creeping in at the edges for added depth.
