I'm going to put my hat on the fact that Bristol outfit KickBoy are a lot of fun live based on this single. You see, 'Portland From Streetview' has a punk spirit to it but there is also a theatrical, performative element here that will surely make for a whirl of energy in a sweaty pub or venue. This is a heady mix of Ian Dury & the Blockheads, Tankus the Henge, the Libertines and the Fall which, lets face it, would be one hell of a night out so if you like your music imaginative, unpredictable and entertaining then you'd best get acquainted with KickBoy.
