Zuzu is the real deal, people. Singer, songwriter, running her own label and creating instantly amazing tracks like it was a walk in the park. Take new single 'My Old Life', for instance; a song that starts off as a heartbroken break-up song but finishes as a triumphant change of direction - it's a rollercoaster ride. A gentle acoustic strum and fragile vocals get things going but when the drums join in and Zuzu delivers the line "I drove my car to the edge of the Mersey, threw my phone in saying you don't deserve me" then you know for in something special. Authentic, heartfelt, perfectly put together and a voice that balances emotion and delivery perfectly - what more could you ask for? An album? Yeah, that's coming in November you demanding buggers.
