Well, would you look at that?
I’ve only gone and reached a decade of doing these end of year awards. Looking
down the list of previous winners, I’m pretty pleased with my record of picking
out quality, creative and enterprising artists from a range of genres and
backgrounds. I may not have my finger on the same pulse as every other end of
year list but, well, what would be the point in that? The shortlist for these
tenth awards follows the same two rules as all previous years; to qualify you
need to have been reviewed on the blog and nobody can win the same award twice.
