Brighton grunge-pop outfit Beach Riot are revving up for a significant tour this winter and, as you might expect, there's a highly anticipated debut album to go along with these dates. Before we get to that, however, the quartet have dropped new single 'Wraith' to keep us ticking over for the rest of the summer. There's a scything guitar riff that is pummelled by the drums before the twin vocals join in and we are sent hurtling at high speed through the city streets at night. There are flavours of the Pixies, Placebo, Young Knives, INXS and the Breeders all mixed in to this intoxicating cocktail but I don't think you'll care about the ingredients when the resulting drink tastes this good and gets you this drunk.
