If you're after something direct, visceral and brutal but with a catchiness that you can bop along to then this latest release from the Liars Club might just be for you. 'Freak' hangs around a simple, brooding riff and throaty, desperate vocals before occassionally erupting in to a fearsome, near-chaotic chorus that will have IDLES fans salivating. There is a vibe akin to the Fall in the performative nature of this track but it's the energy and ferocity that really stays with you.
