Good lord but I do love the sound of drumsticks being smacked together to accompany a 4 count at the beginning of a song. North London teenage dirtbags Polarized Eyes have that brilliantly raw and brash energy that comes with youth on new single 'It's Not An Accident, It's Love'. Two chords, rattling drums and a punk ethos is all this song is built on but it is exciting, engaging, energetic and moving which is as perfect as it gets for me. There will be comparisons to the likes of the Clash and early Nirvana but there's also early Elastica vibes and you could very much see this bunch opening for IDLES in the not to distant future but only when a good ol' mosh is allowed by King BoJo.
