Belgian outfit Marble Sounds had me spellbound with the music and video combination on their latest single 'Quiet'. Framed around a Ludovico Einaudi-esque piano melody, soft vocals and warm, soothing strings, this song is comforting and reassuring in a way only music can be. As the melody swells gently moves and flows the vocals become clearer in their confessional and unburdening nature - this is the kind of mood that Elbow flirt with and the sort of music that really ought to be prescribed to people in need of a gentle uplift to help them face another day on planet Earth.
