Totnes duo Long For The Coast are back with new single 'Circling the Sun' that comes in at a Punk-ish 115 seconds long. However, this song is nothing like a punk song as you will discover when you hear the mellow vocals create the melody and the message with only some effects for company. The sparsest of sparse beats joins in for a short while but really this song is more about the message; "Ask yourself a simple question, why is it we're even here?" This feels like the kind of song you'd hear drifting across the ocean after weeks adrift which makes you question your sanity until a pod of Dolphins appears to guide you safely to shore. I think Long For The Coast might be one of the wisest bands around and I say that with no hint of insincerity.
