Canadian artist Ahi has one of those voices that defies genre or era and immediately makes you fall in love with his sound. Ahi's latest release, 'Until You', starts with a warm and gentle acoustic guitar being picked deftly atop a steady but driving stomp which is all designed to hug on the heart strings. Then comes Ahi's voice which has a soft tone but an assured strength and a dusky, warm delivery that is like audio velvet. The simple arrangement, the powerful vocals and the warm tone all draw the listener in to Ahi's world and it's a beautiful place to be.
