Aussie quartet the Lazy Eyes have
created a sparkling slice of mellow indie-pop based around Hohner melodies and
gentle guitars. ‘Nobody Taught Me’ has a real vibe of the Thrills or the Magic
Numbers as they sing of friends once found but now lost which gives this a
happy and sad feel but those gorgeous keys ease any pain in your heart. There
is such a beautiful feel to this tune that you could easily get lost in and
puts them in a nice little niche with compatriots Babe Rainbow bringing some
great music out of Australia.
