Formidable are heading back into the world with an album due out in August but
for now we can just whet our whistles with new single ‘Back To Nothing’. The
trademark chiming guitars sweep out over the horizon, soaring and swooping like
a murmuration of swallows – so beautiful you just want to lie back and enjoy
the beauty. The vocals are deceptively soft yet steely and the drums pound steadily
to keep things on some sort of course but the main energy here is the sheer
