If you’re ready for a blast from
the 80s past then wrap your ears around this latest release from the excellent
Natalie Gray. ‘My Toy’ hits hard with some perky synths and a beat that has
never seen a drumkit to create a sound that is all about the early Madonna
sound but with a little more innocence about it, a la Tiffany. Gray’s voice is
perfect for this genre, full of energy and pep, so you wouldn’t be surprised to
find Stock Aitken and Waterman bopping to this in the production booth.
