Cory Marks has drafted in two Canadian compatriots for this beast of Country-Rock anthem and I think takes all three of them to control the energy in this one. 'Blame It On The Double' has satisfyingly chugging riffs, powerhouse drums and lyrics about blaming bad behaviour on mild alcoholism and full moons. The video features pick up trucks, guitars, zombies, sexy women in cowboy boots and cut off jean jackets so every cliche box is ticked but without apology. If you like Country-Rock with the emphasis firmly on rock then you'll love this but if this isn't your bag then keep on driving and don't pull up at this drive-in.
