I am falling pretty hard for Aussie
collective Babe Rainbow right now and this is after only two releases, the second
of which is new single ‘Ready For Tomorrow’. The loose but infectious beat is straight
up disco but filtered through the Madchester scene and by the time the bass and
guitars join in you should already be grooving along to this liquid sunshine.
Oh, up pops a cowbell, awesome! The groove on this track is so deep that you
could apply to almost any situation and it would improve proceedings – even a
funeral would become a celebration of life with this one blasting out. Now,
where did I put my cowbell?
