THE SUBWAYS - SINGLE REVIEW

The Subways - Fight (Alcopop! Records)

Release Date: Out Now

I am so glad that the Subways are back in the world and even more pleased that they've teamed up with Alcopop Records for this release and more. 'Fight' is timely, to say the least, as Billy Lunn's vocals let rip at all that is wrong with the world at the moment with laser precision. The ruling Etonites and those that would impose racist views on the world are in the firing line as the Tom Morello-esque guitars and churning bass lines fire out with unstoppable energy. This is raw, this is angry, this powerful and this is instantly infectious stuff. Bottom line, this is the Subways at their very best especially when they leave your ears and conscience stinging with a closing line of; "Say each and every name of those who could not breathe".
