Cornish indie-rock upstarts the
Rezner are back with new single ‘How to Smile’, ready to unleash their gig
thirsty fans. The track is packed with pent-up energy, excitement and the
bravado of youth which makes this an infectious and instantly likeable. There
are elements of Chay Snowdon in there as well as hints of Glam-rock and the
kind of early 90s pre-Britpop swagger that I used get very excited about as I
dreamed of bouncing around sweaty indie clubs. This is an anthem for launching
yourselves out of lockdown and back into the arms of rock’n’roll, good times
and a sense of freedom that has been lacking in recent times.
