LoveButter – Nothing

When you come across a band
called LoveButter they’re either going to a filthy funk collective or a murky
rock’n’roll band but either way it’s going to be dirty. Bristol’s LoveButter
are certainly the latter and their new single ‘Nothing’ kicks in with a barrage
of guitars and the kind of piratical cheering we haven’t heard since Adam Ant first
donned face paint. Channelling the likes of the Wildhearts, Reef and Guns’n’Roses,
these guys create an unholy noise that brushes its teeth with Jack Daniels and
washes its hair in lighter fluid like a blend of Lemmy and the Dude. And who
would want to hang out with that guy?
