Hello Cosmos have arrived at the party with new single ‘From the Ground Up’ like
a guy that nobody knows turning up to your dinner party with a keg of scrumpy
and a bag of marshmallows that he’s injected with acid. This track sounds like
a lot of things but in terms of musical references, this is a late night jam
between Gorillaz, the Happy Mondays and Soulwax with LCD Soundsystem chilling
in the corner with Mike Skinner. A pumping bass line and beat keep things
moving while the rest of the band psyche out and it is a genuinely wonderful experience.
Enjoy but stick to a limit of three marshmallows.
