The Native – Lost on You

There continues to be a bit of a
buzz around Plymouth quintet, the Native, and even during a global pandemic
people are talking about them so it is no surprise to find them dropping
another single in the shape of ‘Lost on You’. The son g gets underway
straightaway with a sweeping vibe and something approaching shoegaze but with
the tense energy of an epic rock track waiting to explode. Sure enough, there’s
a big old sing-along chorus which is perfect to blast out over a sea of raised
arms as the sun goes down. The video which accompanies the track shows a band
that works hard and plays hard with that real gang mentality that you want in a
band so, yeah, buzz justified.
