Devon duo Selke are back with new
single ‘Flowers in the Rain’ and it is as gently beautiful as we have come to
expect from these two. A lazily plucked guitar and a shuffling beat bow by way
of introduction to the gorgeous vocal harmonies of Esme Storm and Maz McNamara.
This is timeless music that works as much today as it would in a medieval
tavern with flagons of ale being gulped down and a fire roaring in the corner.
The addition of some swooning violin notes and the increased urgency of the drums
bring this to a delightful head that will have you dancing floatily around your
house with a blissful smile on your face.
