LAURARN HIBBERD – SINGLE REVIEW

Lauran Hibberd feat. Lydia Night – How Am I
Still Alive?

Release Date: Out Now

Everyone’s favourite British slacker-pop star, Lauran Hibberd, has teamed up with Lydia Night of the Regrettes for her new single ‘How Am I Still Alive?’ and this doesn’t make things any less potent. A growly bass, basic beat and those slacker vocals singing “I’ve never really wanted anything at all, except for Michael when he fingered you in football” tell you everything you need to know about this track, but it only gets better from here on in. The chorus is mahoosive with a wall of guitars while the vocals chime out like Veruca Salt singing a Fountains of Wayne song and generally keeping the crowd in bouncing until their legs cramp up. Can we just get this pandemic done now please so artists like Lauran Hibberd can get back out there with all these new songs and whip us in to a frenzy? Pretty please.
