parish, Damien Foster has struck out on his own under the name I Am Damo with
new single ‘Don’t Say’ out now. Lo-fi beats and serial killer bass lines make
for a weirdly futuristic and simultaneously retro sound that has its roots in
Joy Division, Boards of Canada, Kraftwerk and Jean Michel Jarre but with a darker
undertone. This tune might look cool but I beg you not to follow it down a dark
alley or let it take you home in a taxi to its dystopian apartment in an
abandoned and soon to be demolished apart block on the outskirts of Moscow.
