Dude Safari – Bug Hunter

First things first, Dude Safari
is an awesome name as long as you don’t think too hard about what a Dude Safari
would actually entail. Secondly, ‘Bug Hunter’ is an awesome tune no matter how
hard you think about it, but you really don’t need to think that hard about it.
The Surrey based trio get things with an incredibly appealing chug’n’snarl
combo before settling in to a Weezer meets the Lemonheads with Eels on vocals verse
that couldn’t care less if you’re there or not. The guitars chime out with rock’n’roll
chops and that delicious chug keeps going like a big rig ominously following
you in your rear-view mirror across the Nevada desert. Rock’n’roll is not dead,
it is living in Surrey and pumping iron until the pandemic is over.
