You don’t come across many
Norwegian-Filipino artists, so I was intrigued to hear the music of Clinton Kane
and find out what the hell ‘Chicken Tendies’ means. Initially, this sounds a
lot like Ed Sheeran with smooth acoustic playing and confessional vocals
telling stories of heartache and breakups. But then there’s a stomp that comes
in along with hints of Bruno Mars, Damien Rice and Jamie Yost with the same
size of production as Passenger. Oh, and the chicken tendies thing I had to
Google but it essentially seems to be positive so that’s nice.
