Rainbow present new single, ‘Your Imagination’, which in turn presents a vision
of a utopia that it is damn near impossible to resist. Along with guest member
Jaden Smith, Babe Rainbow lay out uber-chilled guitars and sparse percussion to
transport us to Haight Ashbury or the Beach Boys hideout in hazy summer sun and
the bluest of blue skies. The song meanders like a barefoot dreamer tracing the
shoreline along a sandy beach before Smith’s interlude of spoken and sung lyrics
that spin this on its head. The video just oozes sunshine and retro influences
so it’s worth checking out as a shot in the arm while we wait for summer to
arrive.
