Canadian soloist Adnama has
brought her A-game with both the artwork and the title of this new single so it
is time to find out if ‘Pissed in the Disco’ sounds as good as it looks.
Shimmering, pulsing synths are tamed by a guitar chord or two and Adnama’s
vocals that are somewhere between Helen Love and Tiffany. There’s a sort of
forlorn euphoria to this track, like the end of summer or the first day of the
rest of your life, and for that we should all be grateful.
