name of the year comes hot duo the Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer with their
new single ‘Forever Fool’. The track creates a Stranger Things vibe with a
rumbling bass line and distorted vocals before there’s a Gorillaz-esque shift
in energy and the skittish beat is joined by undulating electronic melodies.
There’s something ethereal and liberating about this track that makes me feel
like one of the old folks in Cocoon being zapped up and taken off to a new life
in a new world and it feels good.
