may well be a serious focus in a lot of different areas of society, but it
doesn’t get a lot of attention in the music world so it’s refreshing to hear
this tune from production duo REUNIØN. ‘Before I
Forget’ starts with hushed tones and a gentle melody which speaks of the early stages
of dementia as the first memories slip away and you are immediately transported
in to the world of heartache and confusion that surrounds this horrible disease.
This is never going to get clubs bouncing but in the same vein as Above & Beyond,
this is beautiful, thought provoking and emotionally charged music with real
heart.
