Norway’s Marie Noreger has come
up with one of my favourite song titles of 2021 so far and fortunately the tune
lives up to it. ‘Bullshit in Disguise’ builds from a brooding pulse into
something both sensual and sinister which is a razor-sharp balancing act. Noreger’s
voice switches expertly from sweet to steely without blinking and the whole vibe
is sealed as a song you don’t want to mess with or even think about lying to.
